Dear Future Little,

I’m Ashley! I’m from Los Angeles, and I’m majoring in History. I am so excited to meet you. I know we are going to be such great friends, practically attached at the hip. You’ll make so many friends in Alpha Xi, not only in your pledge class but others as well. In Alpha Xi, we are all very protective and loving of our new babies so it will feel like you have 100 bigs, not just me. That’s one of the many reasons why I love Alpha Xi; we take care of each other. You can always find someone to go to for help, advice, or a hug. Everyone is very down to Earth, extremely genuine, and so sweet. This is a group of girls who will accept you without hesitation and want to be your friend no matter what. Alpha Xi Delta will be your home away from home, where you meet your best friends for life.

Once you’ve found your home at Alpha Xi Delta, you’ll meet a lot of new people and make so many new friends. Some could turn out to be your best friends for life. I know that I’ve found girls like that at Xi, including my big, Chelsea. I hope I can be that for you. I want to be able to share with you all my favorite things about Austin- like petting dogs in Zilker Park, eating amazing food on South Congress, and finding hidden gems like the graffiti artwork at the Hope Outdoor Gallery. I want to be there for you to give you advice about school, friends, and so much more. I want to be more than just your friend or mentor, I want to be your sister.
